WHERE

Rochester, MN

A new home for a physician at the Mayo Clinic and his young family, was designed for maximum efficient use of space settling in its surrounding environment, as a homage to the Prairie School's organic architecture.

The house was carefully sited on a lot with gentle slope, was designed on two levels, each with distinctive function, with main living spaces on the main floor, with the lower level with daylight windows, providing the casual activities.

Stucco exterior with horizontal bands and stucco detailing, deep eaves and low pitch roof, represent the architectural style and vision of this owner.
