Tuscany Style Home
Two story home on the Western suburb of Minneapolis, inspired by architecture of Tuscany, is designed to blend the charm of Italian vernacular with the contemporary and open floor plan.
The Two story home was designed for a primary main floor living, which would include the Master Bedroom Suite. The main floor with open concept includes the Great room, designed with barrel vault ceiling and custom designed windows to give the space its place as the heart of the home.
The space is open to the kitchen through a carefully designed and crafted wood arch. The main floor also includes the formal Dining room adjacent to the kitchen, a Music room near the Foyer and a Screen porch outside the Breakfast Nook.
The second floor which includes three junior suites is connected to the main floor through a custom designed circular stair that provides intriguing interior appeal as well as the strong architectural statement from the exterior perspective. The stair tower is further enhanced with tall stack of custom windows, cased with special stone treatment.
In addition to this beautiful staircase, the home is equipped with a home elevator, which connects all floors including the sub-garage space designed as the Sports Court. This special space is designed with 16’ ceiling height directly below the three car garage and is viewable from above through glass paneled exercise room at the basement level.
The basement walks out to the backyard with large patio space separating that from the swimming pool. The lower level also provides ample space for casual entertainment with recreation space, wet bar and family room in addition to dedicated spaces for the owners’ office and hobby space.
